Backend

Backend is a commercial document viewing engine from Rasterex that provides the core rendering capabilities for CAD, PDF, and image files.

It installs first because other components depend on it.

Backend requires accepting a license agreement during installation.

Even in "quiet" mode, the license dialog may appear. A user must be present to accept.

• Read and accept the Rasterex license agreement
• Select installation options if prompted
• Installation proceeds automatically after acceptance

If the same version of Backend is already installed, the installer may skip it.

• Upgrading: A newer version will upgrade the existing installation
